Melissa Heart
Studio Owner & Director (Ballet), received her BA In Child Development from Connecticut College. She studied ballet at Walnut School in Natick, MA and the Royal Ballet School in London. Melissa studied dance on Cape Cod with Barry Edson and Virgina Zango, and later performed Snow Queen in Mid-Cape Ballet's Nutcracker. She also founded the dance department at Elgin Academy in the Chicago area. Melissa is a certified elementary school teacher and has taught dance at the Academy of Performing Arts and other local studios. Melissa also works as a professional storyteller, Yoga and Pilates teacher. Her latest venture is the creation of Reaching Heart Center, which she founded in 2001.
Melissa has Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training, and is a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist. She is also a Stott Pilates instructor.

Suzette Hutchinson
(Jazz & Hip Hop) has studied and performed in Providence, Boston and NYC. She is Artistic Director of Dancescapes Dance Theater, and her choreography has been performed in Orleans, Boston, Providence, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Suzette's training includes Graham technique (Paul Sanasardo, NYC), Limon Technique (Betty Jones, American Dance Festival & Gerri Houlihan, Lar Lubovitz Company), Horton Technique (Milton Meyers,NYC), and Hawkins Technique (Eric Hawkins Dance Co., NYC).

Francie Joseph
(Modern Dance and Pilates)started her training in modern dance and ballet at the Phylis Sabold School of dance in Chicago. She later minored in dance in college, received a BA in Early Childhood Development and a MA in Integrated Arts in Education.Francie started the School of Contemporary dance in Montpelier, VT and was a founding member of the dance-touring group the Vermont Moving Company. A majority of Francie's career has involved the incorporation of dance in schools. She worked for thirteen years teaching dance in the Wellesley public school system and ten years teaching Creative Movement and Modern Dance in local Cape schools in collaboration with the Academy of Performing Arts in Orleans. Francie's training also includes Tai Chi, which she studied in Japan and Pilates.
